Sidebar Visibility
-
I would like to know how to make my sidebar visible on all pages and, eventually, I would like to learn how to make it visible on selected pages.
When I first started my site with a TwentyEleven theme, it had a static front page and the sidebar was on the right ..and the sidebar appeared on every page and post.
When I came back from vacation, the sidebar had been moved to the left, by my fill-in and the home page displayed the latest posts ..both improvements. However, now the sidebar only appears on the home page and nowhere else. My fill-in is as baffled as I am.
I checked the visibility of the sidebar widgets and no visibility conditions have been set. I tried setting the visibility of one of the widgets to Show if Page is Page and Show if Page is Post ..and the widget disappeared from the Home page sidebar and it did not appear on any other pages or Posts at all.
Can someone help me make the sidebar widgets visible on all pages?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What is the URL to the site in question. I looked at virefugeesponsors.wordpress.com and your sidebar is appearing.

Thanks for the link.
The default for the TwentyEleven theme is to have no sidebars on the pages. In order to show the sidebar on any page(s) that you wish, look for the Page Attributes box when you are editing any page and select the Sidebar Template from the Template dropdown box. This will show the sidebar on that page. This way, you can choose sidebar or none for each page.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any issues.
