Sidebar widget

  My theme is pique and the sidebar widget isnt visible although my theme does provide it and I already added some widgets to it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Which pages are you hoping to see the sidebar on?

  I can see the sidebar on About, This Goes Out to, and Contact pages.

  Pique theme is not designed to show sidebar on category pages, which the rest of your pages are.

  Also, Pique theme shows sidebar only on Default and Grid Page templates. Here is how to change the page templates: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-attributes/#template

  Hello,

  I am so new at this, it’s hard for me to find everything because they are placed in different places. Anyway, I am getting crazy, I added the sidebar with the blogs I follow, they are shown when i make the changes, but if I open another page trying to see the blog alone, it does not show.

  Hello @huellasdecolores,

  You did all correctly on your website. The widget, in fact, can appear only on the posts per theme structure, while on the categories and/or tag archive pages the widget doesn’t appear.

  For example, this is one of your post: https://animalinstinctespana.wordpress.com/2015/12/30/felices-fiestas-propositos-para-el-2016/. Here the widget appears as it should be.

  Here is a category page instead, where the post above sits in: https://animalinstinctespana.wordpress.com/category/es-ahora-sugerencias/fun-facts/. Here the widget is not displayed since the theme you picked is not structured to feature widgets on this type of pages.
