  Hi this is probably a user error but Im having trouble customising the sidebar any time I go in to try I only get the option to customise the footer. Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to just delete the sidebar widget altogether?

  Hi there,

  The customizer will only show the sidebar option while you’re previewing a page that uses the sidebar. So once you’re in the customizer, on the right side in the preview area, click on About in your site’s menu. Then, you will have the option to edit sidebar widgets.
