I can’t get the Follow Blog widget added to the sidebar. ??? What’s up?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Monica,
Right now, your Follow Blog widget has a restricted widget visibility. It’s set to only appear on your posts page here:
You can delete that widget visibility setting if you’d like the widget to appear on all the pages on your site, or you can add more visibility rules if you want to choose where it appears.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Hi Monica,
You can manage the widget’s visibility settings under Appearance > Widgets in your dashboard. There, you can click on the widget to expand its settings, and then click the “Visibility” button at the bottom (next to the “Save” button).
There, you can click the “Delete” link next to the visibility rules, and then click the “Save” button to save the changes to that widget.
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

I must be dense. I still can’t get it to show. But, I might switch to a different theme and then it may not be a problem. I have worked with Twenty Ten before and like it better than Responsive.
Thanks so much for your help. I wish there was an easier way to get quick answers, but you have been wonderful.

Hi Monica,
I just checked your site, and I see that you removed the Follow Blog widget. (That was the one with the restricted widget visibility settings, so you won’t run into the same issue with widgets you add.)
I see you added the Follow Button widget, instead. Since your site is currently private, that button won’t appear on your site right now — it only appears on public sites. But once you make the site public, the button will appear at the top of the sidebar (in the grey box above the Archives widget).
If there’s anything more I can do to help with those widgets, your site’s theme, or anything else, please let me know!
