Sidebar widget images – are url links possible

Greetings,
Using text boxes, I have inserted images in my far right sidebars (see under heading: Events) to represent the blog carnivals etc. that I take part in.
Is there a way that when people click on the image they can be brought to the homepage of the carnival?
I ask because since I inserted the images a few days ago people are clicking on them like crazy!
