Sidebar widget not showing social icons
-
One of my widgets on my sidebar has links to a few social media accounts (Under “You can follow me here”). The icons used to be there but are not any longer. If I hover over the area where they are supposed to be, I can click and get to them, but the average new reader to my blog probably will not know that. How can i get the icons to show up again?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there,
Many thanks for reaching out.
It looks like a legacy widget is in use there – which is prone to being temperamental, especially on a theme that’s as old as TwentyEleven – because of this, it’s unlikely a fix will be deployed.
It’s possible to correct this, with custom CSS, however, in order to run this, the premium plan would need to be in use:
Outside of that, you could look to use a Social Media Icon Block: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/social-icons-block/
I hope this helps!

Thank you! As I clicked on the widget, an icon on the far left that looked like a notepad said “Legacy Widget” when I hovered over it. When I clicked on it, it had a place to click to switch from the legacy widget to the social icons. An easy fix, thankfully.
