Sidebar widget not showing up in customizer.

I installed a paid theme that comes with multiple sidebar options as well as interstitials. When I add widgets to the main sidebar, they seem to appear everywhere except for the landing/home page. Additionally, I’ve tested the other sidebars/interstitials on the homepage, and when I add content to those, they work fine and appear on the home page. The main sidebar is also the only one that hasn’t populated in the customizer section of WordPress. Any idea what may be going on or how to fix this? There are no visibility limits set.
