Sidebar widgets

  I have selected widgets and put them in the sidebar, but they are not showing up on my page. Is there something I need to do to activate them?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I checked http://judgingbooksbytheircover.com/ just now and I see that you are using the Blissful Blog theme.

  I checked the theme showcase page for Blissful Blog, and it says that widgets will only show up on certain types of pages. It doesn’t show sidebar widgets for posts, but it does show them for pages archives or search views. It is up to the theme to decide where to display widgets. Each theme is unique and may do things different than other themes. See http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/blissful-blog/ for more information about the Blissful Blog theme.

  It does look like footer widgets will show up on posts if you want to drag some of the widgets from the Sidebar area to the Footer widget areas in case that works as a solution for you.
