sidebar widgets

I’ve been trying to add cover images of the 2 books that I have published, along with their Amazon links, added to the right side bar of my blog. I CANNOT get it to happen. The images are in my media library, have their wordpress URL’s, so I cannot figure out the problem. Help1
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can use either an image widget or a text widget.

Image widgets require image URLs. An image URL always ends with the filetype extension (for instance .jpg). The URLs you used aren’t the URLs of the images, they are the URLS of attachment pages (with an image on them). Go to Media > Library, click Edit next to the thumbnail, copy the URL from the File URL field of the Save module: that’s the URL you need to use.

Still cannot figure out why this isn’t working — I have now tried it with every different image file name (URL) possible. All I get is text, no picture and no link.
Thanks for your response, though! I appreciate it.
So much for getting any writing done…

I don’t know if you’re replying to timethief or to me, but there’s no “every different image file name (URL) possible”, there’s only one URL for an image:
Go to Media > Library, click Edit next to the thumbnail, copy the URL from the File URL field of the Save module: that’s the URL you need to use.
