sidebar widgets in Coraline are not visible on blog

  Could someone please help me? My sidebar widgets are not visible on my blog. I’ve tried the suggestions I’ve found here. Please?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You have a coding error. I think, if I’m not mistaken, that you have an unclosed tag in the widget containing the image of the sailboat. Check the code and make sure it’s closed all the tags.

  Thanks, Raincoaster. I really don’t know what that means. Do you mind kind of walking me through the steps? (Sorry to be so unknowledgable!) Thanks again!!

  @boon, go to settings > writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and click save.

  Now, starting with your latest post, open them in the editor and switch from the visual tab to the HTML tab and then back (waiting for it to reload on both steps) and then click the “update” button and have a look at your blog. If it doesn’t straighten it out on the first post, continue on with the older posts until it fixes it.

  The change at settings > writing should keep this from happening in the future.

  @rain: That’s an image widget, not a text widget.

  @tsp: Not a sidebar-at-the-bottom issue.

  @boonstoon: You have 4 widgets in the footer widget area and one in your sidebar (the e1285008841906 image). What widgets aren’t visible? When you go to Appearance>Widgets, in which widget area have you added them?

  My footer widgets are fine – no problems there. The Primary widget (that I have an image in) is the one that remains open – that image is visible on my blog. I have Archives in the Secondary Widget and Calendar in Feature Widget; those 2 are not showing on my blog. Thanks!

  You need to drag those widgets to the Primary widget area; Secondary and Featured are for alternative layouts – see here:

  The Coraline layouts (and the Mullenweg-Pearson dispute…)

  That did it!!! Thank you all SO much for responding. I was really getting discouraged – and would never have figured this out on my own. I know just enough to be dangerous! Thanks again – hope you all have a great day!!!
