Sidebar widgets missing
-
My sidebar widgets have disappeared such as all the categories to my blog, text boxes with information, etc, ? Does anyone know what’s going on?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you changed the theme lately? Changing theme is the reason I am aware of why the widgets could be missing on your blog.
If you have changed the theme, then you will have to rearrange your widgets to the appropriate side bar specific to your new theme from from your Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets screen.

Thank you for your reply. The only thing I did was change the color of the background. I’ve done this many times with no problem. The theme is the same. I can see the widgets on the sidebar and have saved them again in the hopes they would appear but when I view the blog the sidebar widgets are not visible.
My blog is a tutorial blog with a large amount of categories which need to be seen so that the viewer can look up tutorial posts within the category.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’ve been with wordpress for 8 years. Jozefa -
I can see some widgets on your sidebar (search, archives, views etc).
Have you tried adding category widget again?

Thank you for the suggestion. If I put the category widget before by gravatar I can see the categories on the display. If I place the category widget after my gravatar it is not displayed. I will keep trying.

I wonder if this is because of unusually large number of categories you have. Also please try displaying categories as a drop down list and see if they look good.
