Sidebar widgets replaced by last post??

  Hi. I am having a problem with my sidebar. I had it as I wanted and it was fine, but after I added a new post, it disappeared and now my last post is squished in the sidebar with all my widgets gone.

  When I go to my dashboard under widgets, it shows that they are in the sidebar, but they are not showing up on my blog.

  Can anyone help me? I’m pretty new at blogging — maybe I am just missing something…

  The commercial site linked to your username is not free hosted WordPress.com blogs and that’s all we provide support for here on this forum. If you have a free hosted WordPress.com blog that you are referring to then please post an active link starting with http:// to it.

  Typically this is caused by an open HTML tag in one of your posts or in a text widget. You must locate it and close it.

  Go to Settings > Writing and select “ ___ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then scroll down and click “Save Changes.”

  Now, starting with your latest post, open it in the editor, make one minor change such as adding a space and then deleting it, and then click “Update Post.” Check your blog and see if it is back to normal.

  If it’s not, then look for an open HTML tag and close it. Check your blog again and see if it is back to normal. If it’s still “messed up” then open the next post and do the same thing post by post until it goes back to normal.

  Yes, that is the correct blog…and what you just recommended worked! Thank you!

  I did copy and past some text into it. I am going to your link now to read up on that :)
