sidebar with widgets not displaying in Twenty eleven

  We are writing a site with Twenty eleven, and have started adding some widgets. They display on the home page,(about) but not on any of the other pages in the blog. Is this normal ? Is this feature disabled in 20/10 and it cannot show a sidebar in child pages? Thanks

  You need to open the pages that do not have a sidebar showing in the editor and make sure that in the attributes module that it is set to the default page template and NOT to the no-sidebar template.
