Sidebar Woes

    Hi everyone,

I’m in charge of the blog for the company I work for..

    portraitsimple.wordpress.com

It looks fine in my own browser, but when I look at it on other computers, the sidebar is either

    A. Moved way down to the bottom, or

    B. Stretched out vertically–that is, each word, and each of those wordpress left-pointing-arrow things (which I can’t get rid of) are on their own line…. *as a side note, I can’t see those arrow things on my own computer, but I do see them on other computers.

Does anyone have any insight? Also, I tried posting today but the sidebar moved to the bottom even on my own computer–I realize this has to do with tags in the post, but the only ones I used were the strong tag, a p max width tag, and a table (but the table was way at the bottom of the post—I made sure it fell below the sidebar so that it wouldn’t interfere). Does anyone have a sure-fire way to use CSS to insist that the sidebar stays put?

Any info on my blog at all would be helpful–it seems I have taken a big dive into the CSS world by manually customizing my template, and I probably shouldn’t have.. but I can’t turn back now!! Thanks!

Sidebar is at the bottom when I look at your site http://portraitsimple.wordpress.com/

Sometimes, it’s not a CSS problem. Try looking at the FAQ here http://faq.wordpress.com/2008/05/30/why-is-my-sidebar-at-the-bottom-of-my-posts/
