Sidebar won’t delete!?

I’ve created a number of custom sidebars in the Osaka theme that I no longer need, so I’ve gone in to the general options for my theme through the dashboard and attempted to delete them through the sidebar settings section. I am able to navigate to the area in the settings where I need to do this – I know I am in the right place because under the ‘sidebars list’ header it says ‘combine or delete particular sidebars.’ Yet when I attempt to delete one, I get the ‘Delete sidebar?’ prompt and click okay, the page goes forward then successfully refreshes without the sidebar being removed. What am I doing wrong!? Please note I am NOT attempting to remove widgets from a sidebar. I want to remove the entire sidebar from my theme, permanently. Thank you!!!

Or better, contact Osaka theme directly.
