Sidebars 1 & 2 right down the bottom fo the page

Help! I just wrote a new post in Bueno. I usually have 5 featured posts down the right, with thumb nail pic.
When I published my new post, they ‘disappeared’, and in their place it has a link to Older Posts. When you click on that, it taeks me back 3 wks worth of posts, but in doing so reinstates the latest featured posts.
If I have my latest post up, I have to scroll right down to the bottom of the page to find my ‘follow me’ link or the featured posts.
I am up for a blog content award (!) and need the blog to work now more than ever!
