  I have reworked my free blog with a new theme and it now has two sidebars both with the same information o them. How can I delete one of them please?

  Read your detailed theme description page please https://wordpress.com/themes/sunspot/ You do not and cannot delete a sidebar. You can only remove widgets from the sidebar. Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets
