Sides of featured image of blog posts cutting off on home page

  Hello!
  I am currently using the Sela theme for my blog. Prior to adding an image widget to my sidebar, I had no issues with the featured images for my blog posts cutting off on my home page . I think I may have accidentally changed something when adding the widget and now the featured images for my blog posts cut off and show striped lines to fill the remaining space.

  If anyone knows what the issue may be please let me know!

  Hi,

  The site https://styleintheafternoonblog.wordpress.com/, presently has the Penscratch 2 theme applied. Are you referring to that site, or another? Some of the featured images on the front page of “A Style and Beauty Blog” are of insufficient size. The Penscratch 2 theme guide says, “Featured Images are 656 by 300 [pixels].” File images to be used for featured images with this theme should be of at least these dimensions.

  I was so frustrated that I did end up switching to the Penscratch theme. I’m still curious as to why the images began cutting off in the Sela theme

  OK, thanks for explaining! It’s hard to diagnose the problem without seeing your site. If you decide to give Sela another try, just let me know and I’ll be glad to take a look and see if we can figure out what the problem might be.
