Sight Theme- Ensuring visibility of featured photo slider

I noticed some browsers that Sight’s wonderful featured blog post automatic slider with highlighted yellow background text doesn’t even show up.
What can be done to make sure it does reliably show up on a range of browsers/versions?

I just checked http://cyclewriteblog.wordpress.com/ on several different browsers and I could see the slider in every one that I checked. If it was a very outdated browser that you were using, then it may not be supported.
Was the browser up to date and listed at http://browsehappy.com/ ?
What browser/version were you using when you noticed the slider was missing?
