Sight Theme Featured Slider

I am testing the Sight theme to adopt it later for my site.
I have added 5 posts which I’ve made sticky and added featured images to each of them. However, the front page does not display the image slider as advertised on the theme’s showcase page.
The test site is at:

I’ve done what you posted on your answer. That is, giving the post a featured image and making it sticky, however, the slider does not appear on the home page.
That is what I mean when I said my issue was not answered. So, I thought about contacting technical support instead.
