Sight theme featured slider

  I have made one of my posts a sticky and it appears in the slider at the top of the home page.

  However, I can’t add a new sticky post to the slider? It just moves the post to the top of ‘latest entries’.

  I know it is not a problem with the featured image size because I tested this by changing the current featured image of the post already in the slider to the image of the post I now want to have in the slider and there was not problem.
