Sight Theme Slider

  Hi y’all! I’m having a little trouble with the customization on my blog (blacknoise.us), I’m trying to add the slider that is on the example of their demo but I can’t seem to figure it out. I did some research and it leaded to marking it as a sticky or making it a featured post, but I have neither of those options on my settings.
  Any help is appreciated!

  Hi there – Sight displays sticky posts with a featured image in its slider, as described on its setup guide.

  This thread’s been marked as resolved, are you all set?

  Hi Kathryn, the post I am marking as a sticky does have a featured image but it is still not showing up on the slider. Instead of going to the slider they still go to the top of ‘Latest Entries’

  I see only this post marked as sticky:

  And it’s showing in the slider as expected:

  

  If there’s a different post you want in the slider, try double-checking that it’s marked as sticky.

  Marked the Real Friends post as a sticky, but still not showing up in slider.

  I guess it’s just because I’m logged in or something, I tried it from my phone and it shows up in the slider. Thank you!!

  I am having similar issues. Posts are marked as sticky, but they are not showing up in the slider, only at the top of the blog. The one post that is showing in the slider (What happened when … ) is no longer marked sticky, but it’s still in the slider. What’s going on?

  For some reason, once I went to my site on my phone (not signed in on WP) the slider was working fine, but the posts still go to the top when I use Chrome on my Mac, weird. Also, the slider has been taking a while to update the posts I set as a sticky

  For both blacknoiseus & rebekahleemays – Keep in mind that there may be some server-side caching on the slider, meaning that changes you make may not take effect immediately.
