Sight theme slider issue with sticky posts.

Help!
I use the ‘Sight’ theme which – theoretically – should put sticky posts with featured images in a slider. Unfortunately, some posts with both set are not appearing in the slider, while some other posts that once were (correctly) appearing in the slider but which I changed by removing the ‘sticky’ feature (as I wanted these out) do remain in the slider. What do I miss ?any help appreciated

the slider is perfect ! Is there some delay on the slider settings and working ? -

I’m glad that the slider is working for you now! I activated Slight on my own test site and, after setting some posts to sticky, the slider displayed after clearing my browser’s cache. There may have been some caching issues that led to the delay on your end.

Thanks for your prompt reply (and sorry for not answering earlier). I use Firefox on a Windows7 PC. Clearing the Firefox cache does not help. Clearing this and closing Firefox neither. Doing both and shutting down the whole machine not even… I saw in the link you kindly gave a paragraph about caches at ISP’s. Maybe that is the issue and they clear stuff overnight. Anyway, now I know I can get used to the phenomenon, so it is no big issue for me.

I’m having the same problem. I cleared the cache but nothing. I gave it a featured image, yet still not working. What can I do?

@constitutionalblawg: I’m able to view the slider on constitutional-blawg.com in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
Can you please let me know if the slider is still not working for you and which browsers you’re seeing the trouble on?

This is an issue with the Sight theme. We’ve found out that assigning and unassigning Sticky posts from within your site’s classic wp-admin panel (yoursite.wordpres.com/wp-admin/edit.php) results in the post slider updating right away. Can you please try that?
In the meantime, a report on this has been filed, and rest assured that our developers will get it to it as quickly as they can.
