sight theme suddenly has a slider

  I am using the theme sight: suddenly there is brand new slider on my homepage… weird, but I don’t hate it… however how do I adjust how many posts are visible? and why does the latest post listed below start 1 year ago? How do I adjust this, so my blog doesn’t appear to be a year out of date?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Somehow there were several posts set as sticky, I’ve just un-sticky these for you. The slider is gone now.

  This issue might be related to a recent bug we had with the slider.

  I don’t understand why a theme developer’s new tinkerings automatically apply themselves to our sites. I mean I chose the theme because I was happy with it. Does it really just change by default whenever the developer has a new idea? Or am I misinterpreting that?

  In any event, I have the same issue.

  @jayvay Actually the underlying issue was a tiny bug in the database. Luckily we were able to track it down and quickly resolve it.

  I don’t see the issue occurring on your blogs. Which one of your two blogs are you referring to? please describe the issue in more detail.
