Sight Theme, want current post to sit directly below the Primary Menu.

If you look at the example for the Sight Theme below the primary menu they give an example of having a ‘main post’ I’m not sure if that’s what it is called but I cannot figure out how to insert it…. basically a long rectangular image and a little text….do I have to have it set as a static site to use that feature? Please Help… thank you.

On the web page for the Sight theme, they mention a slider that looks like what you described. See if adding a featured image and marking the post as sticky will get the look you want.

    https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sight/

    “Featured Slider

Sight displays up to 30 of your latest sticky posts that have featured images in a prominent slider on the blog page. To add a post to the slider, mark it as sticky and give it a featured image.”

Thank you!! I ended up figuring it out… it literally just would not bring up the page I needed as I was searching because it was so obvious… it’s the “Sticky” feature… which was tucked under visibility a button I had never pushed.

Thank you for your time on this !!! It means a lot!
