  my domain is tied to my free site , if I go to my free site I see articles written from my paid site, I sign in with different names and passwords even. I have to sign in to my paid site through my FTP ipage. I want to get rid of the tie in or get rid of the free site altogether.

  It looks like you managed to get your free site (gabriel32724.wordpress.com) deleted. If the free site in question is different from the one which I have mentioned above, you can feel free to follow the instructions from https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ to get it deleted.
