sign in errors

  I wanted to comment on someone’s wordpress blog. It gives me errors when I sign in. I created a new password, signed out on my blog and signed in again with new password, so it works! I went back to comment link of the other person’s blog and it asked me to sign in, but it won’t take my email address and new password that should work, no?

  The blog I need help with is not my blog it is another WordPress blog I found in a Google search, ashokkarra.com.

  Hi there!

  The site you linked to isn’t hosted here at WordPress.com. Instead, it’s hosted elsewhere and running on the free software about at WordPress.org.

  (If you’re unsure about the differences between the two types of WordPress then this guide gives a good overview.)

  As the site isn’t hosted here at WordPress.com, the login credentials that you use here won’t work.

  The owner of ashokkarra.com has set things up so that only users that they’ve added to their site can comment. Unless the changes their settings or you contact the owner directly, you won’t be able to leave a comment.
