"sign on" or "add your name" feature

  Hello!

  I have a question, and I’m not sure how to describe this.

  I want to add a feature to my website where people can “sign on”/”add their name” to a document that I’m going to post on my website. Then ideally their name would appear publicly on the webpage. Is this possible on wordpress.com?

  I thought about that, but I would like the signatures to appear publicly right when someone fills out the form. Is that possible?

  you could use a contact form to gather signatures and then publish either a post or page crediting those who submitted to the contact form.
