The new image uploading process is too complicated and needs to be restored to the simple procedure we had before. You have to insert it into the post before you can place it exactly where you want it! Also, there are just too many steps involved. Please fix it.

WordPress dashboard was simple, clear, professionnal and clean ; now it is over. What a pity :-(
Please give us the normal version back.

Meh. I think the new theme is better and more convenient, since it decreases the need for navigating to different pages. Just calm down.
(Hint: You might want to put two spaces between your ending punctuation and the first word of your next sentence. Also, shouting doesn’t help.)

“You have to insert it into the post before you can place it exactly where you want it!”
I’ve uploaded images since the switch and haven’t found that to be so. I use the “add media – add an image” option to upload the image and then just as I used to do before, I copy the file’s url from the box it’s provided in, then close the pop-up upload image box and use the visual editor to finish. I click the spot in my post I want the image to be, click the “add image: icon, paste my url into the box provided, choose orientation right or left and specify the dimensions. All this is exactly as we could before. Voila… the image is in your post!
Just because the “add media – add an image” pop-up box has the option to insert right into the post choosing “small, “medium” or “large” (like with blogger), doesn’t mean you have to. I’m still able to do it exactly as I always did.
Regarding the petition:
I honestly haven’t found myself terribly inconvenienced by the changes, it just means getting used to things occasionally being in a different place than before. We bought a new vehicle this past fall, a different kind than we had before. At first, I was annoyed that I had to get used to things being in a different place. You go to use a signal light and turn on the wipers, etc. It annoys you but eventually you get used to it. Is it better to stick with the old way of something just so you don’t have to get used to something new? Some might say yes, some might say no. I’m happy to be driving a new vehicle; getting used to new places for things wasn’t such a bad trade-off. I won’t be signing any petition because I’m willing to get used to this new way first. I’m betting most of us will be satisfied with the new once we’re used to it. ;-)

I like the new dashboard but why won’t my pictures align perfectly? With the old system they did so there’s got to be a glitch somewhere. Please fix it.

It’s near a week later. I won’t sign. I can hardly recall what the old one was like now.
Internet Time makes my head spin.
