Sign Up Integration and Transitions From Page to Page
-
Hello:
I am trying to build a website by myself. For now, I don’t have a budget and need to get familiar with WordPress first before making any decisions. I participated in the webminar in zoom this morning. Tried to embed a mailchimp sign up form but didn’t work. Then after they sign up and verified the email, I would need to direct the visitors to a new form in a different page that allows to upload short video clips. Can you please recommend the easiest way to do it and if you offer already a built in plug in that allows me to complete these tasks.
Thanks for your attention to this matter. -
Hi there!
I hope you’ve enjoyed the webinar!
Tried to embed a mailchimp sign up form but didn’t work.
Where exactly were you trying to add that? There are a few ways of adding the MailChimp signup to your site. You can add the popup window as described here:
https://wordpress.com/support/mailchimp/
or directly on a page or in a post:
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/mailchimp-block/
What problems did you have?
Then after they sign up and verified the email, I would need to direct the visitors to a new form in a different page that allows to upload short video clips.
Do you mean that you would like your visitors to be able to upload videos to that form? You can either create a contact form where you ask for links to those videoclips, that would be hosted elsewhere:
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/form-block/
or, you’d want to look for an external plugin that would allow file upload. Plugins are available on plans Business and eCommerce. You can read more about our plans here:
