Signature
-
I would like to add a personalized signature at the end of each post. I’ve seen other bloggers with this, but can’t seem to find instructions here on wordpress.
Any suggestions?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have to paste the signature image at the end of each of your posts. There is no automatic way to do it here.
-
Your signature is an image and you can make an images and then upload it into each post. there is not way for it to automatically appear on each post. If you wish you can use online genrators like http://www.mylivesignature.com/
A word of caution though. Are you sure you want your actual signature to appear online. As one of my readers, Joanna @ Zeb Bakes once said:
I suspect that I feel my handwriting is too personal, maybe in the way that people once feared the camera captured their soul, I don’t want to put my handwriting out there for all those anonymous readers to see. I also have security concerns, as long as handwritten signatures are used as a key component of identity for banking admin, the opening and closing of accounts in particular, I would be unhappy to use this. Why make life easier again for identity thieves? <.blockquote>

I don’t use the one I created years ago. It wasn’t my actual signature. there’s no way I will post that online. Maybe the use of signatures is more prevalent in some niches than others because I do notice many mommy bloggers and scrapbooking bloggers do use signatures.

Hey thanks! I didn’t mean my actual physical signature. That would be preposterous in this day and age. I meant somethng far more fun and creative than simply typing it with normal font.
-
Then the online signature generators like the link to the one I posted above are what you are looking for. Happy blogging. :)

I just made one! Awesome! Couldn’t change the color though? But it looks way more fun than normal font!

To change color and/or sizes in fonts you will be working in the HTML editor. Please see here for instructions and resources. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/font-size-color/>

I was not able to change the color of my signature in the step asking for color and/or background change on the mylivesignature website.
The step asked me to “click here for color change” and it showed a #FFFFFF. There was nothing to click and no additional color wheel or option. So I went with #FFFFF and it gave me black.
I checked the FAQ’s section and there was no additional help for the color/background step. Nice huh?
Any suggestions? I’d love it to be orange.
Thanks!

We can’t help you with offsite signature generators. You can try Google or if they have a support forum, you can ask there.

@graceandgiggles
Please post the complete code in between backtick ( ` ) characters here in this thread and we shall see what can be done. The backtick, not to be confused with the single quotation mark, is located on the same key as the tilde ~ in lower case. You will find that key to the left of the number one key.
Make sure you use this format so we get all the code.
