Signed Up for emal alerts but status cancelled

i signed myself up using my Hotmail account to get my blog by email, but the status (receive email alerts) seems to have been cancelled. I then signed up with a different email account. The same happened. Last week I signed up with a Gmail account and now a week later the status has been cancelled. What is going on? I need to receive copies of my blog by email to share

I have logged onto my WordPress account and checked the list of email followers and spotted that the Hotmail (and Gmail) accounts are not showing despite the fact that they were showing the previous week when I signed up. If I then log off WordPress and go onto the Hotmail account and click on the WordPress ‘confirmation’ email I get access to WordPress and it tells me the ‘subscription’ has been cancelled. Thank you for responding

Hi there – yes that’s right. I have been posting every week on WordPress for the last 2.5 years. Over that Tim, I have signed up from (and then lost – by being cancelled) 4 email accounts of mine (including the one I used to set up the wordpress account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)); one at btinternet.com. These two lasted for well over a year before stopping. More recently I opened and signed up with two separate gmail accounts, bothnonlynlasted 1-2 weeks. And for good measure, my wife, son and daughter also signed up and their registrations were cancelled. Strange but true…

I think this might be easier if we could speak more openly about the specific email addresses.
Thus, I’m going to send an email to the address you have listed for the account you are posting from. Let me know if you do not receive it.
