Significant Coding Error With Course Website (Please Respond ASAP!)

    Good afternoon,

I am writing on behalf of a postgraduate course from Michigan State, which is suffering technical difficulties at the following website:

    http://greenhow.educ.msu.edu/cep901ss19/

We are trying to write code that will input and update class participation grades as users (i.e., students in the class) input information on the website. We copied the code from another WordPress website for the same purpose. At present, the code shows on the website, instead of the value that should show (particularly on the pages under the ‘Base Groups’ tab). For example, the following appears in one of the cells for the table at (http://greenhow.educ.msu.edu/cep901ss19/base-groups/base-group-1/):

    Class average to date: [frm-stats id=160 type=average round=1]

Beyond checking the coding written for similar aims on websites used for earlier incarnations of this course, we also tried adding ourselves as a hypothetical ‘student’ and completing a question (i.e., in order to see if doing so would change the code into a participation grade value). This did not work and we believe that there is an error in the code, but we do not know how to fix it and could not find an answer online – which is concerning due to the first class taking place this Monday evening.

If you can share suggestions on how to fix this issue, or offer your assistance in helping us identify the error, that would truly be appreciated by us and will help us use WordPress to the best of our ability in the semester ahead.

Thank you for your time and attention, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Hope you have a good afternoon!
