  i have a private blog but noticed yesterday and today that i had several views and realised my views were being counted then it hit me that when i log on to wordpress i am not asked for my password…why is this as i am confused and want my blog to remain completely private and worried that it could be accessed by others…please help

  The staff seems to have updated the Stats counter to count logged in users / visitors to Private Blogs.

  thanks but do you have any idea as to why i am not being prompted for my password as i would be worried that anyone in work could now log in as my laptop remains on all day for work

  There is a “Remember Me” box when you log in. Try logging out and see if that box is checked. Un-check if it is checked.

  Beyond that maybe another person here has an idea.
