Signing In Issues?

  Hey guys

  I am suddenly unable to log into my wp site. I can log in to wordpress.com/me, but not my site.

  I get the ‘ERROR: The password you entered for the username ross is incorrect. Lost your password?’

  So I clicked the link, created a new password…went to sign in and go the error message again.

  I also tried creating a new admin user through wordpress.com/me, set them up, gave a password, and when I try to log in with this new user…guess what – I get the ERROR: The password you entered for the username is incorrect’ message again.

  The passwords are 100% correct.

  Please help!

  Hi there,

  Although connected to your WordPress.com account via Jetpack, the site liveenergized.com appears to be a self-hosted, WordPress.org site.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities, but the essential difference is that we don’t have access to all WordPress sites, only ones hosted on our WordPress.com servers. For more information, please see:

  However, if you have access to the server control panel through your web host, it is always possible to regain access to a self-hosted, WordPress site. This WordPress.org Codex article will walk you through the steps:

  Also, you may wish to contact your hosting support team for direct assistance – they should be able to assist you in recovering your site.
