  I keep showing that I am signed in, but when I try to comment on someone’s blog, I cannot.

  Are you referring to a Blogger ie. blogspot.com blog or to a WordPress>ORG site? If so read this Crazymaking Blogger Comment Settings

  If you aren’t referring to a Blogger blog or to a WordPress.ORG site then make sure you are logged in to WordPress.COM when commenting on WordPress.com blogs.
