signing into Word Press on other blogs

I just tried to sign into another WordPress blog in order to make a comment. When I tried using the “flosuniverse” it came back with “incorrect username”. As far as I know I don’t have another WordPress username. Can someone help me here?? I’m obviously not understanding something here.

Well, in about 24 or so hours from now, WordPress is doing something with there codes or something like that. If you have the time, you may have to wait till tomorow to make another blog!

No, No, I don’t want to start another blog – – rather I just want to post a comment or two on another WordPress blog that I DO NOT run – I’d just be another member posting a comment.

I forgot to mention in the comment just above that my issue is I tried using my own blog user name at this other blog site and the box came up saying “incorrect username”. As far as I know I do not have another username and so I would like to know what I have to do to comment at other WordPress blogs that I DO NOT OWN OR MANAGE.

Are you talking about commenting on a WordPress.COM blog or blog that is self-hosted and using the WordPress software?
If it’s the former, are you logged in to your WordPress.COM account when you try to comment?
If it’s the latter, are you trying to use the “Open ID/WordPress” option?
