  I started to sign up, but didn’t complete the process because I’m not 100% committed. But I did get as far as entering my domain and now has that been locked in for 60 days? Meaning I can’t use it with another hosting site and I have no choice for at least that time? I didn’t know that by entering it in these guys would take it!

  Hi there!

  New domains are locked for transfer for 60 days by the ICANN, you can still use it with a different host by pointing the domain there:

  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#move-a-domain-name

  That said, there is no custom domain on your account. You have registered the free subdomain imaginariumjewelry.wordpress.com – you wouldn’t be able to move this anywhere.
