Signing up for a website

    when I signed up, it signs me up for a blog. But I want sign up for a website. How do I do this?

    A blog IS a web site – just a bit specialized in some ways and optomized for search engines – comments so people can interact with the site (but the comments can be turned off)

    Web sites tend to be less interactive and more Page orientated

    Many companies use WordPress software to to run their entire web site – about 20% of the new web sites in the world are driven by WordPress software

    Exactly what do you want to do with your “web site”?

    Me – I just tell people I have a web site and skip any other details – people visit my site for information and I don’t think they care what it is called
