How do I embed a signup form for mailchimp on my wordpress site? I am trying to do this with information from mailchimp & wordpress. Do I have to have a plugin option on my wordpress or is there another way to do it through one of the widgets that is available?

I searched for “mailchimp” and found your answer for you.
If you want to use MailChimp with your WordPress.com site you can do so by creating a link to the signup form on MailChimp. Here’s the info from MailChimp Support http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/how-to-add-a-mailchimp-signup-form-to-your-wordpress-blog

There is no FTP access and no plugin capability on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

Try this – MAILchimp is not all that intuitive to use, but a great service.
In Worpress, install Standout Color Boxes and Buttons plug in.
On the WordPress page or widget enter this line
`[color-button href=”MAILchimp Signup form URL”]the title you want on the button[/color-button]’it will look something like this
[color-button href="http://eepurj.com/I56pn"]Subscribe to our Newsletter[/color-button]Hope that works – it does for me.

Nope, it won’t work on WordPress.com. Try familiarizing yourself with the platform first.
