silly question on writing a post

A complete beginner here. My question: When I write I like to see the whole paragraph. How come I don’t see that immediately. I can only see everything when I preview. How do I change the post setting? Thanks!

It’s 3 in the morning! Went to bed way bit too early and now am fully awake. Just a short note on my first post. Hello to everybody out there who happen to read this blog. I wish you well and thank you for your curiosity! Nothing much to say at the moment. I said am fully awake but my eyes are getting blurry now. Need to crawl back to bed. Am just so excited to start writing on my new blog hehe. Thanks for understanding! Bye for now…..til later….;)
You should see an empty block below the row of icons where you are meant to write.
