simfo: Header text repeated in footer

  trying to edit my wordpress.com site so that the header text isn’t repeated in what appears to be the footer. I can’t see footer option under appearance as google searches suggest. Am comfortable to change CSS if that’s the only way. Please help!!

  Howdy! You can hide the site title from the footer by putting the following into your Custom CSS:

  #colophon .site-title {
display: none;
}
