Similar theme to the official WP.com blog?

  I think the design for the wordpress.com blog is very well done — wondering if there’s a theme out there that would be flexible enough for me to achieve a similar layout?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  First, thank you! We’re glad you like it, and I will make sure to pass this to the designers. :)

  Almost any theme could be modded enough to look similar to the WordPress.com blog, with enough Custom CSS.

  The theme qualities you’d want to consider are structural — number and placement of navigation menu and sidebars, primarily, since those things can’t be added using CSS. I would look in the Theme Showcase for a three-column theme with a navigation menu in the header.

  Beyond that, it’s all moving elements around and styling them with CSS, which we can help with over in the CSS Customization forum!
