Simpla by Phu Ly with Widgets, Search, Archives and RSS

  Please update the Simpla theme with more on the sidebar!!! I am using as my canvas for CSS because it is so simple but I would love it to have RSS and Archives and the Search option…. PLEASE!!! thanks.

  Um, I’m confused. You can add the widgets for those items in your sidebar. (I just activated the theme on my test blog to check.)

  Yes, for some time I’ve been using the Simpla theme, modified significantly with widgets and CSS. I agree with you that it is a good basic canvas.

  I think you misunderstand. You can add the other items from the widgets list in your dashboard. There is an RSS widget, a search widget and and archives widget. Just go into your dashboard under design > widgets and add them to your sidebar.

  In other words – there is no need to update the theme because the items are already there.
