Simple alert to followers

  is there a way to send out a quick notice to your followers instead of making a whole new post about? something simple

  There isn’t. But if you don’t have an astronomical number of followers on your site, you could collect their email addresses from your stats page and email them personally.

  In your Dashboard, click Site Stats. Scroll down to Totals, Followers & Shares. Click on the link to view your blog followers. You will be taken to a list that displays the email address with which they chose to follow your site.
