Simple Player for WordPress.com

Is there a way to embed the Viddler Simple Player into a WordPress.com post/page?
I understand it’s more of a cosmetic issue :-) but would love to do this!
I blog at http://questionableintentions.wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks, but I was referring to the Viddler Simple Player (http://blog.viddler.com/cdevroe/announcing-simple-player/)… I already have the Viddler Player embedded in my blog :-)

The only music players available for use on worpress.com blogs can be found in support documentation http://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=music+ The reason the choices are limited on this wpMU (wordpress multi-user) blogging platform can be summed up in one word “security”.

I;m wondering if you are aware of this? For a playlist and/or an alternative to the standard WP audio player, you can sign up with MixPod or MyFlashFetish and select one of the 24 players (“skins”) available.

Hey timethief,
Actually, the Viddler Player is for video :-) Guess you didn’t go through the URL I added back there… But thanks anyway for the info on audio players, I’ll keep that in mind!
P.S. By the way, great nick

You know what? I think the functionality is not there at present… So let me be patient about this, maybe WordPress.com will have the feature soon – and good things come to those who wait, right?
Thanks for all the inputs though, you two :-)

Actually I did click through to the site http://blog.viddler.com/cdevroe/announcing-simple-player/ and I examined the code. It’s an embed code for “x-shockwave-flash” and you will find that it will be stripped by wordpress.com software to preserve security on this wpMU (wordpress Multi-user) blogging platform. That’s why I posted the link to the support documentation entry above http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
