  Hi, I’m wondering how to add small images to the side of my blog that connect to my facebook and twitter accounts.

  There are two ways you could do that.

  1. You could add the accounts to your Gravatar Profile, then use a Gravatar Profile widget: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/gravatar-profile-widget/

  2. You could add them to the sidebar separately with an Image Widget: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/
