simultaneous posts on my own blog and another blog on diff platform

  A Blogger blogger wants to simulpost one of my upcoming posts on my WordPress own blog. On her blog it would be a guest post. Does this violate my agreement with WordPress?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  No, but it won’t do you any favours with search engines. They treat duplicated content as spam and downgrade both blogs.

  Thanks. There is a site called scoop.it that posts trackback and reproduces my content. Does that result in my blog being downgraded as well?

  The posts I scoop an excerpt from gets traffic from that scoop.it page.

  That being said I’m not working in collusion with anyone else re: duplicate guest post and the original on my blog as you are describing above. I’m with raincoaster on this.
