Since renewal of hosting my customer header image will not display on internet
-
Hi, Since my hosting has been renewed my customer header image does not display on my website.
But in my dashboard I can upload the original image that has been on the site for the past year and it shows in the editing dashboard page so then I click up-date but then it does not display live on the website but only in my dashboard?
Please could you help?
I have read on the forums that it could be a hosting problem?
Kind regards
David.

Also I have just noticed when you type a word into the home page search box the information is not being searched?
I think this has stopped working at the same time as when the custom header image disappeared.
Please note the header allows text to be displayed but not the image although it shows the text and image in the dashboard editing page!!!

Hi there,
Can you try removing the following from your Custom CSS?
#header {
background:#8EBAFD url(‘http://gogglows.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/cropped-banner.jpg’) no-repeat;
height:150px;
margin:0;
padding:0;
}You can then go to your Dashboard -> Appearance -> Header to deselect “Display Text.”

It is ok I found it :o)
I removed the texted you said and the header image is displaying
BUT
When I remove the text the header size (height) is cut to about 25% in size?
Strange?

No problem – I’ve gone in and edited the CSS for you and everything should be displaying correctly now. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
