Single blog visibility

  I’d like to make my most recent post public, but keep the rest of my blog private. Is there a way to do that?

  You can password protect posts https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-visibility/ and pages https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/. You cannot password protect a whole site. You can make the site either public or private but that’s all you can do https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
